What is the Purpose of Schools?
The purpose of schools are to help students expand not only their knowledge but their minds. Throughout the years, our education system is constantly developing and this happens with the knowledge that teachers themselves are gaining from when they went to school. Schools are suppose to help students learn how to develop and learn the different ways of success and also teach them how to be prepared for their future. School is very beneficial for students and certain jobs they may want to apply to and this helps them pave a way to get to where they want to be. As years go by and we learn more throughout our lives from being taught in school, we get to figure out how to solve certain obstacles we may encounter in our lives and also have the benefits of being provided with many different opportunities such as scholarships, internships, career benefits, etc. Education plays a big role in everyone's life and can also be seen as the base to building your life into what you want it to be.
Hi Diaynara,
ReplyDeleteI like how you focused your blog more around how to help our students achieve their future goals, rather than that the purpose of school is for students to learn strictly curriculum content. I believe this is important not only for their futures, but it helps them develop a sense of who they are and what they want at a young age. It also helps keep students engaged in learning to know they are valued beyond their academic level.
Loved your insightful post!
Thank you Madison!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. It builds a path for them and allows so much room for them to keep improving and bringing all their best qualities to the table.
Hello Diaynara,
ReplyDeleteI like how you included the job aspect, I hadn't considered how that is part of their future and how huge it is. That would be their income, and abilities for the rest of their lives. Makes me wonder if we are set up and taught to work and that why we have our majors and strands we follow ever since high school. You hit all the main points and I believe the same things.
